Social Platforms
Social Platforms Overview
A dashboard showing your mention volume, reach, sentiment health, and competitive standing across social channels.
Go to Social Platforms → Overview.
Key metrics
Four numbers at the top:
Active Threads — the number of distinct conversation threads where your brand has been mentioned in the selected period. A thread can contain multiple individual mentions.
Reach per Month — the estimated number of people who could have seen those mentions. This is unique to social — reviews don't have a reach metric because they sit on a static page.
Average Sentiment Score — a 0–100 score representing the overall tone of your mentions. Labels like "Medium" or "High" give you a quick read without needing to parse the number. This is different from the sentiment filter in Reviews, which classifies reviews as Positive/Neutral/Negative — here, it's an aggregate health score.
Total Mentions Tracked — mentions collected vs. your plan limit (e.g. 100 of 5,000).
Mentions and Reach chart
A dual-axis chart: bars show mention volume per month, the line shows reach. Watch for moments where reach spikes but mentions don't — that usually means a single high-follower post picked up your brand. The inverse (many mentions, low reach) means active community discussion in smaller spaces like subreddits or Hacker News threads.
Competitor ranking
Competitors here are ranked by mention volume, not by review count or rating. A competitor with fewer reviews than you might still dominate the social conversation. This gives you a different competitive signal — mindshare, not satisfaction.
The ranking panel shows up to 8 competitors. Add competitors the same way as in the Reviews section.
Mention Stats & Top Social Platform
Two panels below the chart:
Mention Stats donut — total mentions broken down into Positive, Neutral, and Negative. This is the raw count behind the aggregate sentiment score at the top.
Top Social Platform bar chart — which platforms (YouTube, X, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) are driving the most mention volume. Use this to know where your brand conversation actually lives.

Filtering the dashboard
Filter by social platform (Reddit, GitHub, Stackoverflow, Hacker News, YouTube, LinkedIn, X) or time range (e.g. Last 6 Months). Filtering applies to all panels on the page.
